The June 26th Twilight was a success with 50+ kid's in

 the free kid's races with full fields in the Cat A, B, & C's. Perfect conditions met the racers at Haskell Indian Nation University. Remember a portion of the proceeds goes towards the American Indian College Fund. Thanks to Kim Morris we have great photos of the racers! Join USA Licensed Elite Coach Jim Whittaker for a fun easy bike ride Monday's in August at 6:30pm at the Lawrence Bicycle Path. This Lawrence Parks and Rec offering is open to all ages and levels of cyclists, age 1 to 99. Bring your bike and helmet and learn more about recreational and competitive cycling. Team X Cycling members will assist with the effort. Depending on numbers and ability levels we will split into different groups. The Lawrence bike path starts by the movie theaters on South Iowa just before the K-10 bypass. It's 99% flat and a great place to ride. Spin-with-Jim

Jack Mason (shown here from a spring race) came out to the Twilight this past Thursday. Jack is doing much better and is able to ride his bike indoors on the trainer. The healing process isn't complete but his spirits are high. Jack and his family wish to thank the cycling community for showing their support the past several weeks.
