Thanks to our fellow KCOI promoters for a very fun Tour of Baldwin City stage race June 12th and 13th. Check out the Lawrence Journal World article. Tough guys Josh Wade (Oz Juniors) and Alex Edwards (GP VeloTek) are featured in the article. Josh and Alex both kissed the pavement in the 10-14 Junior event and received the first of their many asphalt tattoos. GP VeloTek's Joe Schmalz continued to ride strongly in the 10 to 14 age Juniors. Joe and about 10 other GP VeloTek juniors will be going to Junior National's this August to represent Kansas juniors nationally.

Special Kudo's to Bill Anderson (Team X Cycling) who was the first responder to the junior 10-14 accident. Bill stopped his Masters 35+ race to help Alex and Josh immediately following their accident. Bill then road in with Alex who finish. Bill Anderson is a strong supporter of GP VeloTek and all area juniors.
