About
Jack: I began cycling as a child and I loved it so much it was all that
I did. Then like most I grew up and my bike was left behind. In recent years
I have rediscovered my passion for cycling and
now like when I was a kid,
its all I want to do. I've been cycling now for 5 years, 2 1/2 of those
going on training rides with the Wheatland team. All of my recent success
can be attributed to them, they have helped me to find another level of
cycling fitness. It's always inspiring to ride with the likes of Steve and
Kris Tilford, Keith and Catherine Walberg, Bill Stolte, Joe and Glenda
Taylor, Brian Walawender, George McDairmid, Bob Locke and everyone else that
makes me hurt.
Hardest day on the bike: Every day on the trainer.
Other
current athletic experience: I enjoy running 5-10K races, but also run
in a few longer distance events and have completed one marathon.
Dream goals: To always finish.

More about Jack, sounds like a movie title? Jack
Mason bursted upon the racing scene by winning the snowy March 1st Category
5 and 4/5 Mojo's Spring Fling Crit race. We knew Jack was a sprinting phenom
but he showed his mountain goat legs by winning Sunday's Perry Race Circuit.
Jack upgraded to category 4 racer the next weekend and has been placing ever
since.
