Wheatgrass Prologue Information

Saturday March 20th (before the Spring Fling)

INFO:

    a. Your prologue results will go towards the two categories that you have been racing at the Spring Fling.

    b. To encourage pre-registration the prologue entry fee is $7.00 before Saturday March 20th and $14.00 on Saturday. Race-day Time Trial registration is challenging for our staff and can effect the flow of the time trial and consequently the afternoon criterium. Please help by sending in your registration this week. Email for mailing address.

   c. If a cat 4 is racing in the 4/5's and 3/4's Mojo's Spring Fling then they be scored for prizes in their actual license category. So the cat 4 will receive prizes if there are any in the 4/5 Prologue class, but will receive points and placing in 4/5 and 3/4. This is true of any dual-category racers.

NOTE:

The Wheatgrass prologue is the morning of Saturday march 20th, race parking will be off course, please park to the right of the main Campground #1 entrance. Registration for the Wheatgrass Prologue opens at 9:15 am and closes at 10:00 am. Prologue start order will be generally in the order of registration, however youth riders will go last for safety.

COURSE:

The course is a flat out and back with a little loop in the middle. You take in the entire 1.1 mile large Campground #1 loop. Top riders will average near 30 mph for the 2.5 KM course. With south winds prevailing expect a headwind out and a tailwind back. The course record is held by Steve Rouff of Team X Cycling, 3:19

ENTRY FEE: $7 pre-registered, $14 day off. this is not included in your Spring Fling race series pricing. Youth and Junior race is FREE.
