Sunday June 1st, Sunflower Dragon's Back Circuit Race.

Perry Lake, Kansas.

Race on the beautiful but challenging 2.1 mile course, with a .5 mile hill. A unique course.  Your not in Kansas any more! It's a race you don't win but merely survive. Bring your lawn chair, lunch and spectate the other races.

Lap times are generally 6 minutes plus or minus.

*Masters Bonus in 3/4 Race, top placed 40+ & 50+ receive $40 in Merchandise. They are also eligible for over all 3/4 prize list. A 50+ Masters may not win the 40+ prize money.

Entry fee is $22.00, Junior and youth race is FREE. Second race is $5.00

Directions: From Lawrence go north on Mass St. to US 24 HWY to the town of Perry. Turn right and go north on Ferguson Rd. Go past the “Dam Store” and take a left on 43rd St. and follow signs. Look for yellow or green race signs along the route.

Notes: Restrooms onsite. Free laps are available, 2nd wheel set recommended. Parts of the road surface are rough and occasional  flats happen. 39 x 23 recommended for slower climbers. The hill is quite steep towards the top. Registration closes 15 minutes before race start.
